The truth. It’s time for a change. A few years ago I took up this important cause to help end declawing because I knew that so many of my fellow cats were being harmed and suffering. I asked my mom for her assistance. She had many creative endeavors going on, and she was quite busy […]
Cornell Gave a Big FU to Rhoda Hogan’s Large Bequest, That She Wanted To Be Used To Help End Declawing.
Rhoda A Hogan wanted 1/8 th of her estate to be a bequest of $125,000 for, “An organization to be used to publicize and educate the public about the cruel effect of de-clawing cats and to support legislation forbidding it.”
She wanted declawing to be banned in America and wanted her money to be used specifically for this purpose.
Wouldn’t that be amazing to see headlines from all these organizations and veterinarians saying things like…
WE UNDERSTAND TIMES HAVE CHANGED AND PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE WELFARE OF CATS LIKE NEVER BEFORE. SO WE TOO MUST CHANGE.
WE ARE ANNOUNCING THAT WE WILL BE COMPLETELY HONORING THE OATH WE TOOK TO JUST HELP AND HEAL ANIMALS. WE WILL BE ADVOCATES FOR ALL ANIMALS AND LOOK OUT FOR THEIR NEEDS FIRST.

New Yorkers, today is the last day for you to RSVP to this important event that will help protect animals from harm and cruelty. But where is the support for our NY bill from ASPCA and a vow to help end declawing?????

There’s a bill in NY to ban declawing that will be back on the table next month. We need all the support we can get to convince the legislators how important this bill is for the welfare of cats!

AVMA veterinarian who is deceiving cat clients about declawing
There is a deeply troubling emerging picture of inappropriate standard of care and substandard practice of veterinary medicine with regards to declawing in America. Declawing cats with no pain meds.
Here are facts from top officials and veterinarians at the Humane Society of the United States, Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Humane Association, The Paw Project, and Ethical Veterinary, that you can use when people try to justify doing this mutilating procedure.
Dear Grumpy Cat,
I’m writing you today from my heart Grumpy Cat. I hope you will help us and save kitties from this senseless, cruel, and inhumane thing.
