I need your help my friends. Share this post with your friends, family, and co-workers and ask them to help us help kitties from going through what these two had to.

Many of you are writing me asking me why certain non-profit animal organizations that you donate to and celebrities who love cats, won’t publicly support the bill in NY to ban declawing even though they say they are against it.

I have no answer to that and it is quite heartbreaking because of all the things, declawing is one of the worst examples of animal abuse, cruelty and torture.

If the NYSVMS succeeds in their quest to kill this bill, then it will sadly be because these people and organizations didn’t help us with the support. Please be patient as I’m trying to get answers for you.

This is ALL HANDS ON DECK time folks and we need yours and everyone who is against this inhumane thing to help and not stand on the sidelines and just hope that the bill will be passed. THIS VIDEO OF THESE TWO DECLAWED KITTIES IS VERY DISTURBING TO WATCH,  SO IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SEE IT,  PLEASE JUST AT LEAST READ THE REST OF THIS STORY.

This was done by a doctor of veterinary medicine who amputated these cats toes and claws and sent them home, still under the effects of sedation, with the cruel, lazy, and selfish cat owners who wanted this inhumane procedure done.

This is happening to thousands of cats in America on a daily basis. You just aren’t seeing it. In fact, I see things that are 100 times worse than this but it’s a fine line I walk to try to educate everyone as I know most of you already support ending declawing.

The best way and fastest way to end this mutilating and horrific procedure is to stop taking your business to veterinarians who do this and make excuses as to why they must still do it. The bottom line is that most veterinarians who declaw cats still do it because of one or all of these reasons.

1) They make a lot of money amputating cat’s toes and claws.

2) They take the easy way out and think it’s easier to amputate cat’s toes and claws and take your money, than it is to counsel clients on how declawing is bad for a cat and how the humane alternatives can work.

3) They really aren’t that fond of cats.

If you don’t like photos and videos of cats being tortured and harmed like this, then please do everything you can to help STOP this injustice and not the photos and videos. They are very difficult to look at and are just the tip of the iceberg.
